roman archers

Hallo, I really like your dedication to roman history. I too am very much interested in roman history. Could you please answer one simple question regarding your weapon? I'm very interested in Roman archery. So far I've found out that romans didn't have a dedicated bow. They generally used the auxiliary troops as archers (Cretan/Scythian/Syrian). The bows you use. What kind of bows are they? And perhaps more important to me personally, where could someone buy them? Or are they selfmade?

I really hope you can help me. I've been looking all over the place for bows that could fit for Roman reenactment.
